The All About Me Culture

The New York Times tells what I think is a sad tale of how some new brides believe showing off their bodies at a wedding is more important than celebrating the start of a marriage. Apparently "sexy" and "hot" is more important than "beautiful." For what it's worth, MY bride needed none of this, and she looked absolutely gorgeous. Personally, I think looking like a princess is better -- and she did, because a little girl at the wedding asked for her autograph!

Most brides look great anyway. There's something about a white wedding gown that transforms a woman. Finding a beautiful bride is easy, they all are.
