More Unnoticed Progress
Last night, Republican voters in Charleston, S.C., where the Civil War began, elected Tim Scott to the state Legislature (he has no opposition in the fall).
He will be the first black Republican in the Legislature since Reconstruction. That's more unrecognized progress. But then again I've been here before.
