Reagan Shooting Anniversary

This is one of those first days where I clearly remember where I was when I heard the news. I was at The Daily Trojan, sitting in the entainment editor's office. Another DT writer, I think it was a fellow named Matthew Kane, burst in my office and said, "Someone shot Reagan," and then he proceeded to grab the TV in the office. That television was the only one at the DT at the time. Fast forward 25 years, and now I work in Washington with Michael Deaver, who walked across the camera range in the famous video just moments before John Hinkley began firing.
